Jack Lorn Hill, 93 of Colbert passed on October 11, 2022. Jack was born in Union Gap, WA to Floyd E. and Edna N. Hill. He graduated from Columbia High School at Hunters, WA. in 1947 and Eastern Washington State College in 1957, following active duty in the US Air Force as a mechanic. He worked as an aircraft, tractor, truck and engine mechanic for his vocation. Jack married Kathleen Doggett in 1956 and the couple had 3 boys in their 65 years married together. He is survived by sons Karl and Scott, and preceded in death by wife Kathleen

Marion Mildred “Babe” Banks Sulgrove

Marion Mildred “Babe” Banks Sulgrove passed away on August 10, 2022, at the Prosser Memorial Hospital in Prosser, Washington. Babe was 83 years old and passed away just one month after her beloved husband, Emmett, had passed. Marion had experienced a sudden stroke that took her quickly, however, we as a family, believe that she passed away from a broken heart, as she and Emmett had been married for 64 years. Life just wasn’t the same without him.

Emmett Lee Sulgrove

Emmett Lee Sulgrove passed away on July 9, 2022, in Richland, Washington at the age of 88 years old. He was born in Clayton, New Mexico, November 24, 1933. Emmett and his family moved out west in 1942 and chose to plant their roots in Springdale, Washington. It was there that Emmett married his bride, Marion “Babe” Banks. Together, they raised their family, and were married for 64 years.

Donald Morris, 83, passed away on July 27, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Arthur and Pearl (Welliver) Morris on May 18, 1939 in Spokane, Washington.
Donald moved to California at the age of 17 where he attended and graduated from the College of San Mateo in Northern California, with an AA degree in English.

On June 18, 2022, Jackie Ann Lyons left this earth peacefully on her terms to reunite with her Mom (Regina), Dad (Albert), Sister (Eline), Son (Mark) and many friends in heaven. Jackie is the loving mother and mother-in-law of Mike (Brooke) Lyons and Michelle (Scott) Coe. She is blessed with 6 grandchildren: Taylor and Tyler Lyons, Kaylee Coe, Alicia, Marissa and Noah Lyons. Jackie is survived by her siblings Evie Harlow and Mike (Diane) Schaff, many nieces and nephews.

Susan Morgan Crim,71, of Deer Park, passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of July 2, 2022.

Susan was born on 09/01/1950 to Gerald Morgan and Barbara Arant in Yukiah, California. She graduated from High School in Chugiak, AK in 1968.

She worked a number of jobs including waitressing and insurance. She assisted Ronald Reagan with his insurance needs when he was purchasing some property! Her true passion was thrifting. She owned and operated Susan’s Second Hand in Deer Park for over 25 years!

Gavin Barry Morse September 29, 1983 – July 2, 2022

Gavin Barry Morse, 38, of rural Adams County, Washington took his final flight July 2, 2022. Gavin was born September 29, 1983 in Spokane, WA as the youngest of four children and only son to Bruce Morse and Maribeth Benson. Gavin grew up in the Spokane area and came to the Columbia Basin as a student in the Big Bend Community College Aviation program. It was during his time at Big Bend that Gavin met the love of his life, and partner in all things, Erin Wolf, while dirt biking in the Beezley Hills.

He was born to Raymond K. and Geraldine (Gerry) G. Langland on February 28, 1953 in Leon, Iowa. At his death, Kurt was 68 years old living in Yuma, Arizona with his wife of 42 years, Martha Frick Langland.

Jerald Roy Alderman

Jerald Roy Alderman, 80, passed away November 9th, 2021. Jerald was born November 4th, 1941 to Clarence and Laverne Alderman, Bowling Green, Florida. The 2nd of 3 children, he was raised on the family watermelon farm. After graduating from Hardee County HS, Jerald attended Florida State University where he majored in Experimental Psychology. While there he met Carol Dawirs and the two married in 1967.
