Mary Hathaway stood up to address the ownership of chickens within Deer Park city limits. There had been flyers posted around town and posts on social media to gather support for the meeting held on July 20th. The room was packed with some people standing in the halls that wanted to be a part of this discussion and hear the response of council members along with city staff. Mayor Tim Verzal has asked Mary Hathaway to represent the group in favor of chickens; she accepted the role with the support of those in attendance who thought it was an eggs-cellent idea.

Finn is a young adult purebred Caucasian Ovcharka. He weighs 130lbs. He could make a suitable pet for a family with space for him to roam. Or he could function as a property guardian with a family that offered him companionship and access to a garage or shop at minimum for shelter, and still included him on family adventures like hikes and trips to town etc.
While you are adventuring outside it is important to remember water for both you and your pets. Even though we have left the sweltering days of summer behind, water is just as crucial during these cold winter months.
Jade came to PHR as a pregnant stray. She has 9 puppies and they will be 8 weeks on 1/2/21; Jade will be available to go home on that day as well! Jade is a charming and unique dog that will melt your heart!
