For the first time in over 20 years, three new Councilmembers have simultaneously taken the oath of office. Former Councilmember Hellen “Dee” Cragun first took her position in 1997, lost her reelection attempt last year.

Are you proud to live in Deer Park? Me too! The children in the Deer Park School District need our help. They are in overcrowded buildings.
The School District’s reputation determines many things: it attracts prosperity in the form of families, businesses and jobs, which in turn lowers the cost of local schools for everyone.

By voting YES for the Deer Park Schools building BOND and Education Programs and Operations LEVY, you are actively adding value to your community. By reconfiguring grade levels in the primary schools and adding an additional elementary building, the school district will be able to provide safe and secure educational facilities for our growing community.

Dear Deer Park Gazette Editor,
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to the residents of Deer Park for their overwhelming support in the recent City Council election. It is with immense gratitude that I acknowledge the trust and confidence you have placed in me by casting your votes in my favor.
