Deer Park’s St. Mary Presentation Parish is hosting their biannual community baby shower for local new or expecting parents. The shower is for local expectant parents or parents with a baby 9 months or younger, regardless of religion or belief.

Clayton saw another great fair this year. Many came to show their livestock and creative crafts, others came just to take in all the sights, sounds, and smells that accompany a good old fashioned fair experience.

As the float season winds down for our Deer Park Float association and our Miss Deer Park representatives for 2019, they ended the year on a high note!

A cougar was spotted about 6 miles southeast of Deer Park on October 28th at approximately 9am. The photo was taken by Mike McCabe, who spotted the cougar while out searching for the family dog, Luna.

The first production of the season is Deer Park High School putting on “Antigone in Munich” by Claudia Haas, which is set in Germany during World War II.
