Eight year old Christopher Anderson took his violin and astounding talent on a community service showcase to both the GreenHouse and Deer Park CHAS clinic during the holidays, to raise the spirits of all who heard his music.
In an effort to uplift the community, and following the example set in both Spokane and the Colville/Kettle Falls area, Emily Unger has started a Deer Park chapter of the “Qauranteam”. This is an organized effort to aid local businesses and community members in need by gathering donations, then using them to buy meals at local eateries to feed individuals in need. No questions asked.
You may have noticed that some new signs have shown up recently in the Deer Park Yoke’s parking lot. You can now purchase your groceries online or through the Rosie app and pickup in the parking lot.
