Deer Park celebrated its 103rd Settlers Day with a lively parade featuring colorful floats, marching bands, and community groups. For those who couldn’t attend the parade or want to relive the memories, we have created an online slideshow showcasing the highlights of the Settlers Day Parade.

The Settlers Parade began on East Crawford, moved along Main Street then to Fourth Street, and ended at Mix Park. The Settler’s Committee highlighted some outstanding community members this year. One such member was Grand Marshal Joe Feist, who was honored for his dedication to the community. Vince and Lafern Janson were celebrated for their long-standing commitment to Deer Park, and BBD (Bicycles by Deron) received the Community Service Traveling Trophy for their outstanding community impact.

This year’s parade was a spectacular display of community pride, with colorful floats, the Deer Park High School marching band, and enthusiastic community groups parading through the streets of Deer Park. Residents and visitors alike gathered to celebrate the town’s rich heritage and partake in the festivities. From the creative floats to the joyous faces of participants and onlookers, each image captures the essence of this beloved annual event. Enjoy the highlights and reminisce about this unforgettable celebration of Deer Park’s enduring community spirit.
