Main Street Market opened its doors the beginning of May and held their grand opening on June 21st and 22nd. They had a silent auction with over 40 gift baskets and gift certificates from local businesses in the Deer Park area.

Students from Deer Park Middle School participated in a citywide, hands-on service project. This year the project involved six different service projects including washing windows, planting flowers, painting bleachers, clearing trails, and picking up trash.
