Survey: Planning For Our Kids’ Future

The Deer Park School District has initiated a strategic planning process, seeking community input to shape the future of local education. Residents are encouraged to participate in the latest survey to share their values, vision for success, and priorities for the next decade.

The Deer Park School District faces significant challenges following the attempted school bond measure this last February. The bond aimed to address critical issues like overcrowding and aging facilities amidst a growing student population.

In response, the district has launched multiple surveys to gather community feedback on potential solutions. The latest survey seeks input from voters on how best to navigate these pressing educational needs.

By participating in the survey, residents can express their views in their own words with answers of 1000 characters long, which is approximately 150 words. These answers will help the school district understand the community’s perspectives on the definition of success for students, staff, and the community and the key challenges and priorities for the next 5-10 years.

Residents of Deer Park are encouraged to take a few moments to complete the survey and play an active role in planning for their children’s future. Your feedback will help shape the educational landscape and ensure that the district’s actions align with the community’s values and aspirations.
