Saddle Up For Clayton Rodeo 2023

Get ready for thrilling broncs, bulls, and barrels at the Clayton Rodeo competitors can now register to ride, and vendors are welcome to participate. Take advantage of this exciting family event in the great outdoors.

The Clayton Rodeo is back, and it’s time for rodeo enthusiasts to saddle up. Come enjoy two days full of events in late July. The Clayton Rodeo will again occur during the same weekend as Deer Park Settlers Day. The rodeo is at the Clayton Community Fairgrounds at 4616 Wallbridge Rd, Clayton, Washington.

Revenue from the rodeo helps fund improvements to the fairgrounds and upkeep and to help pay out dividends to the youth that show during the Clayton Community Fair in August. Save the dates of July 21st and 22nd for family fun and excitement.

The gates will open at 5pm, and the rodeo will kick off on both nights at 7:30pm. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure your spot.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • 6 to 12 year olds are $5.00
  • 13 years and up are $15.00
  • Children under 6 are free (when accompanied by an adult.)

While enjoying the summer evening, grab a delicious dinner from one of the vendors and bask in the great outdoors. There will also be a beer garden again this year. Only those over 21 are allowed in the beer garden, and organizers remind spectators to have a designated driver. The Tough Enough Drill Team will be there to help celebrate this event.

Events for the weekend:

  • Saddle Bronc
  • Bareback
  • Ranch Bronc
  • Barrel Racing
  • Tie-Down Roping
  • Team Roping
  • Bull Riding
  • Steer Wrestling
  • Break Away Roping

Their slack night is Friday after the main performance, so any events that have more competitors than the regular rodeo window allows will be competing then, and it will also be the Tough Enough to Wear Pink night.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink

Tough Enough to Wear Pink is a campaign to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for local communities. Founded in 2004 by breast cancer survivor Terry Wheatley along with Karl Stressman, the campaign has raised over $37 million for breast cancer charities.
