Meals On Wheels Mall Crawl

Stepping foot wearing tennis shoe | Deer Park Gazette

It’s time again for the March for Meals campaign! Greater Spokane County Meals on Wheels is dedicating the whole month of March to bringing awareness to the silent malady of poor nutrition and isolation.  Meals on Wheels is kicking off the month with their Mall Crawl.

Meals on Wheels fights the constant struggle against senior hunger and isolation. To help bring this issue to center stage is their annual Mall Crawl on March 5th, at both Northtown and Spokane Valley Mall.  This year they’ve added a virtual, and furry walk as well.

Sign up now to walk as an individual, as a team, or with your furry friends. Each participant will get a swag bag full of goodies, and have the opportunity to win door prizes and awards for distances walked.

On site walkers need to meet at either the Northtown or Spokane Valley Mall on March 5th from 8 AM to 10 AM; virtual walkers can walk anywhere at any time during the month of the March to log their distances.
