The Clayton 2020 Pro-West Rodeo that was set for July 24th and 25th has been canceled. The rodeo is a major fundraiser for Clayton’s Community Fair. However, the organizers still plan to have the Clayton Community Fair later in the year.
The rodeo was planned, as it has been for years, to coincide with Settlers Day; however, both events have been canceled as a direct result of the coronavirus situation.
The Settlers Day Parade is still planned to take place Saturday, July 25th at 10am.
Get ready for Clayton’s 41st Brickyard Day Celebration. It all starts with an outdoor movie on the first Friday in August and continues on Saturday with a fun run, live music, and more. Check out the schedule in the following article.

He began his teaching career in Kennewick, WA before moving to Deer Park. Keith taught at Arcadia Elementary before moving to Deer Park High School for many years of service.
Following Heather Newsom’s resignation, the city council had 90 days to appoint a replacement. Six people applied and were interviewed, and ultimately, the council unanimously voted to appoint Ellen Standen.
