The Canterville Ghost

Come join Deer Park HomeLink for their production of “The Canterville Ghost”. This is a thrilling adaptation of the famous short story by Oscar Wilde. With a cast of 22 students, this two and a half hour production is sure to uplift and inspire. This play is for all ages and will immerse you in all of its mysterious beauty. Let us take you on a journey of acts of heart warming heroics and comedic camaraderie.

When a quirky American family of eight decides to vacation in London for the year, they find themselves in the beautiful yet eerie Canterville manor. However, the residence is haunted by Sir Simon Canterville himself, or so they’ve been told. Over the course of the year, they find themselves amongst creepy maids, butlers, new friends, and… paranormal experiences. That’s right, in Sir Simon’s best attempts to get rid of these feisty Americans, he causes all sorts of chaos amongst the family. This leads Virginia Otis, the 16 year old daughter, to take it upon herself to get rid of the ghost for good! With the help of her friends, she must find out why Sir Simon is bound to haunt the manor. Come watch us perform at the Ken Fisher Theater in the Deer Park High School. Showtimes are at 2pm and 7pm, both Friday, January 10th, and Saturday the 11th.
