Princess Project Donations Needed

Keiran Brown and Linda Schoening are launching Deer Park’s Princess Project. This not-for-profit task is to gather donated formal dresses and give them away to girls who otherwise might not be able to afford a dazzling dress to wear to prom. Their goal is to collect at least 75 dresses by March 15th.

Big Hunk Serving Against Cancer

Big Hunk is the Deer Park High School Key Club’s annual boy’s volleyball tournament to raise money for a variety of charitable causes. This year all proceeds are going to “Alex’s Lemonade Stand” Foundation for Childhood Cancer. Key Club would like you to come out and support your high school junior and senior guys’ volleyball as they battle it out for cancer.

Rotary Students of the Month For March 2022

The Deer Park Rotary Club members picked three students for March’s Student of the Month.

Ryder Thin Elk, a senior from Mary Walker High School, was introduced by Superintendent Todd Spear. Ryder began by thanking the group for inviting him to the lunch meeting. Ryder’s favorite subjects are art and writing. He said they keep his mind free from stress and his imagination going.
