Stags Season Opens With Jamboree & East Valley

The Deer Park Stags football season started off with a Jamboree, which included the Lakeside Eagles and Newport Grizzlies. Unfortunately, the Riverside Rams would not join the event. During the initial game of the season against East Valley, the Stags took their first triumph.

Annual road maintenance is set to begin next week. Multiple roads will be impacted by the pavement preservation project. This year, Inland Asphalt Company will perform the project, which bid $282,000.

Oregon Fire: Updated Evacuation Areas

Spokane County Fire District #4, utilizing the CodeRED system, has implemented further Level 1 evacuation zones as of 6pm on August 21st for the Oregon Road Fire. This is in conjunction with the existing Level 3 evacuation areas that remain in effect. This was confirmed this morning August 22nd.
