The Washington Secretary of States Office has published the early results for the Deer Park School District Bond. For the bond measure to succeed, the voters must approve the measure by 60% with a minimum of 40% voter turnout.

I’m writing in support of the proposed Replacement Bond for School Construction. I’m an active community member & volunteer. I have made it a priority and taken the time to learn how this bond will be used. I’ve found an open-door policy and full in regards to the use and justification of the bond. I am impressed and grateful for the prioritization the School Board and Bond Committee are giving to the feedback they’ve received from the community about concerns over an increase in their tax bill. As a former District Cout Judge, I have often heard friends and family ask about how to vote in judicial races. Occasionally there is a race where I have provided a public endorsement and this year presents such a race. Tim Fennessy is running for re-election to Position 11 on the Spokane County Superior Court. After more than 33 years practicing law in Spokane, Judge Fennessy was elected to the bench in 2016.
