This weekend marks the first of two Merry Markets coming this month, as Deer Park Market hosts its popular holiday event not once but twice. It’s the perfect opportunity to get Christmas gifts for everyone on your list while supporting the community.

This first Merry Market will be at Riverside Elementary on Saturday, November 2nd. Featuring more than 65 local vendors, the market is a festive shopping experience designed to help residents find unique, handcrafted gifts in a community-centered atmosphere. Located at 3802 E Deer Park Milan Rd, the market will be open from 9am to 3pm, inviting shoppers to explore a variety of custom jewelry, one-of-a-kind home decor, cozy winter accessories, and gourmet treats. Supporting local artisans and small businesses, every purchase at the market is an investment in the community, ensuring that holiday dollars stay local.

For those unable to attend this weekend or who can not get enough of a good thing, the Deer Park Market has scheduled a second Merry Market for Saturday, November 30th, at the Deer Park Fire Station at 345 E Crawford Ave. This second event will run from 9am to 3 pm, offering another chance for shoppers to browse locally made items and find gifts for everyone on their list.

During the second Merry Market on November 30th, the Deer Park Kiwanis will have a drop-off site for the Deer Park Santa Express event which is coming up on December 14th. This event lets kids in the Deer Park School District for ages 3-12 shop for their families for free. Currently, the Santa Express is in need of teen gifts, especially. People can bring unwrapped gifts to the Merry Market and drop them off at the Kiwanis Club booth.
