Law enforcement is still on site. For over an hour Colville Street was closed during a standoff between an unknown individual and and Spokane City Police.

During the standoff, law enforcement could be heard giving directions to someone inside to put the weapon down. During the standoff, Colville was closed between E & H Streets. By 7:30 pm the police appeared to have resolved the situation. It appeared the operation was directed by Spokane City Police with the assistance of Spokane Country Sheriff’s Department.

Colville Street is back open now. The standoff took place at the home on the corner of Colville and H Street. The home is directly across the street from the Middle School football field.
