Letter To Editor – My name is Ronald L McCoy

My name is Ronald L McCoy

Today I’m announcing my candidacy for the 7th District Representative Position #2 Republican.

My home is located in Chewelah WA where I have lived for approximately 25 years.

Retired Safeway Grocery Stores (Retail Clerks #1439), Retired US Navy and a Disabled Veteran.

Why me? and why 7th District.

We moved to Republic, Washington in 1988 where we lived for approximately 3 years then moved to Chewelah, Washington to our current home. The 7th District is our home and community. The 7th District is in a sense, our Sanctuary. A place where we can work and raise a family. We once had a great economy with our logging, mining, Alcoa, a paper mill located in Ione, to mention a few. The 7th District is a place where we offer a place to hunt, fish, ski, and play golf; enjoy country drives and walks amongst many fine things. We have orchards that offer a great season for growing fruits, vegetables and many other agriculture’s needs. The 7th District in peace and Beauty. Some even consider this the last frontier.

We have slowly been losing our Land Rights, Gun rights and Small Businesses are being taxed to death. I’m not a business owner but the taxes that are imposed on them is ridiculous. Fuel cost, food cost, and supply costs are already expensive without adding more taxes. Our religious freedoms are being taken away, not only by our choice of religion, but the removal of God from every way possible.

Over the next several months I will be visiting your communities getting to know one another. Please view this election as one of the most important elections you will ever participate in. Not only for the 7th Legislative District but all of our Local, County, and Statewide elections but a very big election for our Country. If you are looking for a flawless Candidate, open your Bible. If you are looking for a candidate who has experience working with City, County and some Statewide involvement, and a candidate who will listen and take your concerns to Olympia, Elect Ron McCoy 7th Legislative Representative Position #2.

Letter To Editor – Jesus wasn’t a Republican. Nor was he a Democrat.

Unfortunately, the system in which we live, plays to only two parties, that hold a strangle hold on power. As such what is one then to assume? That my identity in Christ is dependent upon who I vote for or don’t vote for? Shall I say then that it is my Christian Duty to vote for Biden or Trump? Neither statement is valid. The shame is a false equivalence within political and false religious dogma.
