Avista Gas Safety Inspections In 99006 Zip Code Area

In an email to customers in the 99006 zip code, Avista announced that they would conduct routine safety inspections on natural gas pipelines and meters to ensure system reliability.

Residents in the Deer Park zip code area will notice Avista’s authorized contractors conducting routine gas safety inspections on their private property over the next five to seven days. These inspections, aimed at maintaining the safety and reliability of the natural gas system, will be performed by Heath Consultants, Inc., who will be easily recognizable in bright yellow Avista Contractor safety vests and identification badges.

The contractors will need access to properties where underground gas lines and meters are located, which may include areas behind closed or locked gates. Homeowners are requested to provide access to these areas to facilitate the inspection process. Inspections will not require any interruption to gas service.

If technicians cannot access a property, they will leave a door hanger with contact information for homeowners to arrange a more convenient time for the inspection. In some cases, different technicians from separate safety inspection programs may visit properties during this timeframe, but residents are advised not to be alarmed.

These inspections are part of Avista’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and reliability of its natural gas systems. Residents can contact Avista at [email protected] or call 888-407-0327 for any questions or concerns. More information about Avista’s Gas Safety program is also available online at DPGazette.com/ngs524.
