An upcoming visit this Friday of the Department of Social and Health Services(DSHS) Mobile Office to Deer Park presents an invaluable opportunity for residents to connect with vital services and support systems.
The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Mobile Office will be stationed at the Deer Park County Library at 208 S Forest Avenue on Friday, February 23rd.
From 9:30am to noon, residents of Deer Park and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to engage with the DSHS Mobile Office, which aims to bridge the gap in access to essential services. The mobile unit brings government assistance closer to the community, eliminating barriers such as distance and transportation issues.
DSHS offers assistance with food, cash, medical services, and more. Residents can apply for benefits, submit paperwork, and change existing cases, enhancing access to crucial resources.
