Deer Park vs Lakeside Basketball Matchup

The Deer Park Lady Stags celebrated their second straight league championship with a performance against Lakeside. Meanwhile, the Deer Park Stags faced a challenging matchup against Lakeside on the men’s side.

The Deer Park Lady Stags clinched their second consecutive league championship with a stellar performance against Lakeside, securing their 23rd straight win against league competition. The Lady Stags maintained control in a hard-fought battle by countering every Lakeside run, ultimately winning 56-42. Leading the scoring charge were the Bryant sisters, with Ashlan Bryant contributing 15 points and Emma Bryant adding 13. Rylee Darnold scored 10 points for Lakeside.

On the men’s side, the Deer Park Stags faced a tough challenge against Lakeside, ultimately falling short with a final score of 54-49. Despite Deer Park dominating most of the first half, establishing a seven-point lead, Lakeside rallied back to finish the half, only trailing by two points. Calvin Mikkelsen and Hiro Patterson played crucial roles for Lakeside, scoring 19 and 15 points, respectively. Deer Park’s Davin Kemano led the Stags with 18 points.
