The winning piece from each congressional district is displayed in the tunnel connecting the Cannon House Office Building to the U.S. Capitol, an area frequently traversed by members of Congress, staff, and visitors. In addition, the competition serves as a platform to highlight young artists’ creative achievements.

This competition offers a platform for talented young artists to showcase their work and promotes the significance of art education in shaping the next generation. Through their dedication and creativity, students like Johnathan Brooks are leaving a lasting impression on the community and beyond.
