Gardenspot Roundabout Opening

At the Loon Lake Roundabout, access to Highway 395 from Gardenspot Road will be available by Thursday morning(Sept 29th). During the night temporary lane stripping will be applied, after which the approach will be opened.

The project had seen a number of delays due to labor shortages, however currently construction seems to be moving along quickly. With access to Highway 395 opening, local commuters can begin to take advantage of the much needed improvements. Prior to the opening of the Gardenspot approach crossing the highway required the use of long detours.

As the site is still undergoing construction, speed limits are strictly enforced. Please be aware of debris on the road and keep an eye out for construction workers. The roundabout is expected to be completed in early October. Supply chain and labor shortages could impact the work as the construction moves forward.
