Food Distribution in July

Faith Lutheran Church partnered with 2nd Harvest to serve families in Deer Park in June, and these organizations are not done helping our community this summer. They have scheduled two more events, one in July and the other in August. Faith Lutheran Church has been sponsoring this event for several years now and has been able to help many people in the process. Sponsorship does not just involve paying for some expenses needed to have the 2nd Harvest Mobile Market come to Deer Park. Faith Lutheran Church also organizes volunteers and provides the location for distribution at its parking lot at 214 S. Weber Rd, Deer Park, WA 99006. Each event has the ability to help up to 250 families. The next event, July 13th which is a Wednesday and will run from 10am to noon or while supplies last. These events are open to the public and require no documentation. People can get free produce, meat, shelf-stable foods, and other nutritious products. Organizers follow CDC guidelines, so they use a drive-thru delivery system. The last event will be on August 10th.  2nd Harvest is always looking for groups to partner with to help bring their services to local communities.
