All the Classics Come to Town

Deer Park was flooded with classic cars, great music, smiling faces, and an endless supply of delicious root beer floats.

The Car Cruise and Root Beer Float event was held at the Hotspot April 30th and was a huge success. Collaborating for the event were the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce, the Deer Park Car Club, the Upriver Drive band, and The Pickett Fence. This awesome team worked together to provide a fantastic evening for the townspeople. Shannon Siemen, Deer Park Chamber of Commerce board member, was thrilled with the turnout. “Our heart is the unity with our community and partnering with our local businesses,” she said.

Certainly, with the unity of these local businesses, a town was treated to the opportunity to have old memories stirred while the youngsters were making new ones.

Beautifully restored vehicles from yesteryear filled the parking lot of the Hotspot and the surrounding roads. Car clubs from the entire Northeastern Washington area joined in showcasing their craft and prized possessions. Several of the participants expressed  hope of making this an annual event.
