Kaity Wacker Crowned Miss Deer Park 2021

Grace, glitz and guts commanded the stage as the Miss Deer Park Scholarship Association held their annual ceremony tonight at Christ’s Church in Deer Park, WA.  Eight local Deer Park High School junior ladies competed to be crowned Miss Deer Park 2021.

Despite having only two short weeks to prepare for this event, every contestant contributed beautifully to a seamless performance showcasing their physical fitness, creative expression, self expression, presence and composure, and lastly, answering two questions posed by the judges. Over $13,000 of scholarships were able to be given out tonight thanks to the generosity of businesses, organizations and individuals in our area. An additional $100 was added onto each scholarship by the Settler’s Committee, and an unexpected honorary memorial scholarship in the name of a beloved teacher was also awarded.

The final results are:

Miss Deer Park 2021 – Kaity Wacker, Scholarship $3,500

Miss Deer Park Princess 2021 – Mason Griffin, Scholarship $3,100

Miss Deer Park Princess 2021 – Xandria Moss, Scholarship $3,100

Tremendous thanks is given to Christ’s Church for allowing the event to be held on their property. Congratulations to each and every one of the ladies and volunteers who worked tirelessly to provide a very pleasant performance. Without the sponsors, none of this would have been possible.
