Cougar Spotted South East of Deer Park

A cougar was spotted about 6 miles southeast of Deer Park on October 28th at approximately 9am. The photo was taken by Mike McCabe, who spotted the cougar while out searching for the family dog, Luna, that had recently gone missing. The big cat sighting was reported to the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. 

If you see a cougar, contact the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) online at https://wdfw.wa.gov/enforcement/violation/reportStart.html or text them at 847411 (TIP411) Enter WDFWTIP followed by a space and the report. Reports are completely anonymous. WDFW is open Monday – Friday, from 7am to 5pm and closed weekends and holidays. If you are outside of these hours of operation, please contact your local State Patrol, as they dispatch for WDFW when they are closed.
