Car Prowling and Theft

On the evening of March 18th and into the early morning hours of the 19th,  Deer Park was subjected to a spree of car prowlings. A group of 3 suspects was responsible for multiple car break-ins; items were rummaged and stolen. Most of the criminal behavior occurred in a small area in the northeast part of Deer Park. The perpetrators’ merriment culminated in the actual theft of a Jeep and a joyride around the golf course neighborhood. The suspects fled from police and ended up crashing the stolen vehicle into an open field near Bob Mart.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Department believes they know who committed these crimes; however they have not yet released their names. The suspects have gone into hiding and have not returned home.
