Deer Park Library has been offering snacks to kids using a federal grant for many years now.  During the pandemic, they received an exemption so that families could pick up snacks without following the standard participation requirements.

Libraries Expanding Services In October

Spokane County Libraries announced they are increasing the number of hours and days they are open to the public. Starting on Sunday, October 3rd, the Deer Park library will be open on Sundays from 1-5pm. They will also be expanding their hours on Monday through Wednesday by two hours (making their hours 10-8 Monday-Wednesday)

Opening Up Like A Book

Spokane County Libraries announced the reopening of their eleven facilities to the public on March 8th in a limited capacity. This will be the second time that the Spokane County Libraries will be reopening their doors; the last time was in November 2020. They were only able to remain open for a couple of weeks before they had to close back down.

Free Curbside Printing

Need something printed out? Even though the library buildings of both Spokane and Stevens County are closed to the public, they still are providing much needed services still like Mobile Printing.

Libraries Open For Public Soon

Spokane County Libraries which is currently in Phase 2 is opening all eleven of its facilities in a limited capacity on Thursday, November 12th. Hoping to open in November as well, Stevens County libraries have decided to wait even though they are in Phase 3.
