Warning Letter Regarding Crawford Construction

A warning was recently sent via mail about construction on Crawford, that would force property sales and business property demolition. The letter explained that Crawford would be widened due to growth and traffic and that State Farm insurance would be relocating.

City Council Considers Communications & Committees

How the City of Deer Park communicates with residents was one of the most discussed issues at the last Deer Park City Council meeting. A number of committees are in the works for the future of Deer Park including the city pool and the City Hall building. There was also a moment of silence for Don Stevens.

A Ballot Question For City Council

Deer Park City Council candidacy requires contenders to live within the city for more than one year before the election. Billy Costello moved to Deer Park in May of 2021, he has owned a business in the community since 2018.

Town Hall Debate Tonight

Primary candidates campaigning for Deer Park City Council positions will participate in a town hall debate at the Pickett Fence in Deer Park. This event will allow voters to get to know candidates through a question-answer section which will include questions from event hosts, the community, and each other.

Primary Election Results 2021

The official ballot drop box closed at 8pm for the primary election that took place on August 3rd this year. The early results are in and laid out here. However, the county canvassing boards will be certifying the results as of August 17.
