On February 13th the voters of Riverside will have an opportunity to positively impact the future of the Riverside school district. Our schools have long been a source of pride for our community through the excellent education they have provided to our students while also providing excellent management of taxpayer dollars. Riverside has the lowest tax rate of any school district in Spokane county, and it has not had a bond election for construction since 1998.

Survey & New Board Members Starting 2024 Strong

The newly appointed Deer Park Chamber of Commerce 2024 Board of Directors, led by President Kelsie Carlson, is preparing to tackle a major project: revitalizing the city’s downtown area. The Chamber, in partnership with Retail Strategies, has launched a survey to gather community input on the project, which is part of a three-year, $180,000 contract with the City of Deer Park.

Letter To Editor – Dale Magart

On the February 13 ballot will be a request to approve a bond for the Deer Park School District. With approval, a smoking real estate deal that is time sensitive, meaning it needs to be done soon, will happen and a new elementary school for grades 2 through 5 will be built; the Arcadia building will be remodeled to better serve Home Link, the Middle School will be modernized and renovated and a new bus garage/transportation building will be built.
