Informational Town Halls
Deer Park School District will host three (3) Town Hall opportunities for the community to learn about the February 2024 levy and bond. We invite our community to learn more, ask questions, and gather information. Please feel free to share these dates and times with your friends, family, and neighbors!
- Wednesday, January 31: District Administration Office, 6:00 pm
- Saturday, February 3: Arcadia Elementary School (followed by a tour of the Transportation Center), 10:00 am
- Tuesday, February 6: District Administration Office, 6:00 pm
The purpose of the Town Hall is to provide the community with the opportunity to learn more about the Renewal Levy & Replacement Bond measures:
- Proposition 1) Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Renewal Levy: The EP&O levy is not a new tax.
- Proposition 2) Replacement Bond to Construct and Renovate Facilities: Bond funding will address the growth and highest-priority facility needs for K-12, Home Link, and the transportation facility. This is a replacement bond as the current bonds will be expired.
