Helen Elaine Sanders, commonly known as “Elaine” or “Laine,” passed away peacefully in the care of family, surrounded by loving thoughts and prayers at her home in Deer Park, Washington, on September 8, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born to Helen and Oscar Ingalls on July 21, 1934, in Spokane, Washington. John Naylin Leonard

John Naylin Leonard of Loon Lake, Washington, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 28th, in Spokane, WA after a long battle with renal failure.  He was 63.

John was a loving husband to his wife, Sharon, and a caring father to his 9 children, Chelsea, William (Tanna), J (Julie), Elizabeth, Michael, Rebecca (Kevin), Max (Olivia), Sam, and Anna.  He dearly loved his five granddaughters, Braylinn, Alianna, Vera, Brielle, and Zoey, who each had him wrapped around their little fingers.  He also adored his nieces and nephews, as well as their children.

James Collin Hicks

James Collin Hicks, 71, of Marion, KY, formerly of Deer Park, TX passed away August 31, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church, Veteran of the United States Air Force, graduate of the University of Texas, former director of the Pasadena Livestock and Rodeo Association and former winner of the Texas Safety Manager Of The Year. Survivors include his brother; Roy Tony Hicks of Oceanside, CA and sister, Tracey Sue (John) Choate, of Eddyville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Louis Hicks.

Wendy Michelle Lauderdale, 68, a cherished resident of Loon Lake and Deer Park for many years, passed away peacefully at her home in Deer Park on July 22, 2024.

Born on October 20, 1937 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Franklin Lester and Mary Irene Moody, their only child.  They relocated to Long Beach, California during her high school years. Elizabeth Ann graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach in 1955 and married Samuel Joseph Fenn December 17, 1955.
