The last few months have taken a toll on our community. As a result of the pandemic, states were shut down and many businesses had to close. Now that the holidays are drawing near, it is more important than ever to support these local businesses.
The City of Deer Park is providing funds for small Deer Park businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19. The $197,550 grant money is from the Department of Treasury through funding under the CARES Act passed last March.
As the population increases in our small town, the question about finding a better way to deliver police protection to the community comes up again.

The Chamber of Commerce’s coworking space dubbed the Hotspot celebrates its Grand Opening Tuesday November 17th! In light of the governor’s announcement the Hotspot will only be allowed 25% capacity at any time.
