The Greenhouse & Deer Park School District are partnering with 2nd Harvest to provide Drive-Up Food Distribution Thursday, May 28th at 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Deer Park High School. Free food for those in need.
Each May, local 4-H and FFA youth look forward to showing and selling project animals at the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane. The show, scheduled to celebrate its 85th year, draws nearly 500 youth from the Pacific Northwest to compete for awards and to sell market animals they’ve reared for months.
The community has found yet another virtual way to come together. “Adopt a Senior” is a national movement made by the families and friends of the class of 2020.
Even without that much-needed shelter for housing animals, NEWHS is meeting several of its goals and impacting Stevens County with their services.

Ann Benzo is a retiree and grandmother who enjoys the perks of her secluded life in the country with her husband. Hannah Kircher, on the other hand, is a high school senior and a competitive archer.
