This beautiful little lady came to the Mission from the great state of Utah, where she had been returned to the shelter and was facing euthanasia. Sandy’s first stop was at K9 Communication, where she spent two weeks brushing up on the basics and learning more about self control in private and public settings. She was a rockstar!

Upon entering the theater to watch Antigone In Munich, the audience was immediately met by a stage backdropped with Nazi flags. I had been told that this play was going to have some heavy themes; with this set dressing that weight was instantly felt.

Come join Deer Park HomeLink for their production of “The Canterville Ghost”. This is a thrilling adaptation of the famous short story by Oscar Wilde. With a cast of 22 students, this two and a half hour production is sure to uplift and inspire.

Hospitality, showing love and care for strangers, is often done in our homes over dinner, in conversations at work, or in our neighborhoods. However, when we’re running errands, having picnics, or sitting in traffic, we’re surrounded by strangers whom we frequently ignore.
The Deer Park City Hall stands proud in the center of town, the brick building a staple in our community. From the outside, the building’s history is subdued, but the inside—especially the closed off third floor—tells a different story.
