Sign Up Now For WinterFest Races

Lace up your running shoes and brace for the chill, Deer Park! WinterFest’s 5k Frostbite Footrace and 1 Mile Fun Run are back, and promise a brisk adventure. Both races start and end at Deer Park High School, with awards and excitement for walkers and runners of all levels.

Grab your running shoes and winter gear! On January 13th, 2024, Deer Park High School will be the starting point for the Deer Park WinterFest 5k Frostbite Footrace and 1 Mile Fun Run.

Both the 5k and 1 Mile courses boast of flat and fast terrain. Whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for a personal record or someone looking for a brisk winter stroll, the Frostbite Footrace and Fun Run cater to all fitness levels.

Participants will find restrooms and registration located within the high school premises. 

  • Check-in for the races is between 7:45-8:45am. 
  • The 1 Mile Fun Run will kick off at 8:30am 
  • The 5K Frostbite Footrace at 9:00am 


Awards will be presented to the overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in each age category for both races. The awards ceremony will take place immediately after each race.

It’s essential to note that, in adherence to insurance regulations, no canine companions will be allowed on the racecourse.

Registration And Fees:

For the 5K Run:
Preregistered Fee: $18
Race Day Fee: $20

For the 1-Mile Race:
Preregistered Fee: $13
Race Day Fee: $15

If you wish to commemorate the event with a technical long-sleeved T-shirt it is an additional $12 per registration fee and must be ordered by January 3rd. Limited supplies will be available on race day, so early registration is recommended.
