Lady Stags Fight Hard But Fall To Freeman In Volleyball Clash

League-leading Freeman Scotties visited the Lady Stags for Northeast “A” League volleyball play on Thursday evening.

In the opening set, trailing 4-0, the Lady Stags battled back to within two at 6-4 on a rally that included kills by Kolbie Colliver and Camryn Chapman. The visitors would take the opening set 25-10.

Set two was even a five following a Caitlyn Watson ace, but the Scotties would pull away 25-10.

Set three saw the visitors jump out quickly to a 4-0 lead. A kill by Kali Vio and a block by Colliver helped even the score at four. Freeman would go on to win set three 25-11.

After the trip to the Quincy tournament, the action returns to the home court next Thursday against Colville.
