Big Cats, Highwires, and You

Get ready for a show full of beautiful animals, high-flying aerialists, and much more with something for everyone. Presale tickets are now available for Culpepper & Merriweather Circus, coming in less than a month.

Deer Park Kiwanis is sponsoring this two-show event running ninety minutes each, full of fast-paced fun. Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is coming to town on June 7th at the Sports Complex located at 801 South Weber, across the street from the High School. The two shows will be at 5pm and 7:30pm. They will offer pony rides, bouncy houses, a concession stand, a 22ft slide, and face painting an hour before the show. The tent opens twenty minutes before each performance.

Tickets

Local businesses, including Yokes Fresh Market, will have presale tickets available soon. In addition, Deer Park Kiwanis members will be selling tickets, and they will have a booth set up at the Deer Park Market at Perrins field on June 4th, where you can buy tickets. Those tickets will be $12 for adults,  $7 for children 2-12, and seniors 65 & up.

On the circus day, tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. There is no charge for children under 2. The box office opens an hour before each show. All tickets are general admission which means first come, first serve for seats.

Even if you have gone to Culpepper & Merriweather Circus in the past years, you will be thrilled to hear they offer some old delights and new attractions for their 2022 season.

Some of the new attractions this year are:

  • Brandon Ayala on the Rola Bola
  • The Loyal Family 10th Generation Bareback Riders
  • Kelly Leeth on Aerial Silks
  • Logan Jimenez with his Cockatoos
  • The Keeth Duo on Aerial Cradle

Big Top Raising

Culpepper & Merriweather Circus offers a free tour of the circus grounds to the public at 9:30am, including watching their tent raising. You’ll get to meet the animals up close and personal, learn about their routine and care and get lots of information about the show’s daily operations. They welcome large groups to attend tent raising, including daycares, elderly care facilities, and schools. Please contact them if you’re thinking of bringing a large group to help accommodate your group’s size or any special needs they may have.
