Heroes Silkies Walk 2022

Stand with our veterans by participating in the “Heroes Silkies Walk 2022” this Saturday (April 23rd). You have until Friday night to sign up. This walk is brought to you by local non-profit Heroes Homestead which has partnered with the Spokane Vet Center.

Heroes Silkies Walk will be held at the Spokane Vet Center located at 13109 Mirabeau in Spokane Valley. This 5k walk starts at 9am; however, there is a check-in time of 8am. There will be a BBQ lunch and resources available following the walk. You can sign up at DPGazette.com/hhhsw22. Registrations are free unless you sign up for a pair of Silkies in addition to the walk.  Funds from every Silkies purchase go forward to help a veteran or veteran family in need and to end veteran suicide. There is also a place just to donate to support this cause on the sign-up page.

For more information about their veterans’ programs, check out Heroes Homestead at heroeshomestead.org.
