Cooking From Scratch – Healthy & Economical

Try it! You will like it!  High fat, high sugar and high salt food items may be adding to health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease.  Leaving off meat and dairy just a few meals a week can be a healthy start to a healthier life.  Studies suggest that increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables in your diet can improve your health.

With the rise in the cost of food this seminar offers economical meals that are also tasty and healthy.  “Cooking from Scratch Seminars” offers recipes and demonstrations promoting a plant-based diet.

“Cooking from Scratch Seminar” is open to the public.  A light supper is served, providing an opportunity to sample new meals with recipes.  Try it! You will like it! In addition, each evening seminar will have a short presentation on related health topics.
