Dollars for Scholars Annual Fundraiser

Dollars for Scholars is looking for community support during their annual Hearts Fund fundraiser.  This 20th-anniversary event gives people an easy way to donate to help High School Seniors gain access to further their education.

The fundraising effort runs from February 1st – March 5th. The funds raised will make up scholarships for seniors at Deer Park High School, Home Link, and Deer Park Alternative School.

You can donate at confirmed businesses throughout town including: Bob-Mart, Chevron, Garden Spot Floral, Horizon Credit Union, Inland Feed, and Pickett Fence. Yokes Fresh Market will even give you an option to donate at their registers as you check out. The community can also make donations online or by mail.

Organizations are encouraged to contribute to this event. Every donation, no matter how small or large, is truly appreciated.

Last year, the community raised $1800, resulting in three $600 scholarships for Karli Kastner, Taylor Lyons, and Dawson Youngblood of class 2021. The application deadline for all scholarships from Dollars for Scholars is March 16th.
