Start Now: Christmas Coloring Contest 2021

Time to bring out your favorite art supplies and add some color to this holiday. You can download and print coloring pages with the button below. Mail your completed artwork to us with an entry form and you could win one of three awesome prize packages. All ages are invited to submit their artwork. While everyone in your family is welcome to send submissions, there can only be one winner per household.

  • Kids 0-9
  • Teens 10-17
  • Adults 18 and up

 

Once you have completed the coloring page, send it back to us along with the entry form by December 20th.

Albert Warren Stevens 1937 – 2026

Albert “Al” Stevens was born to Warren and Luella Stevens on December 4, 1937. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1955, attended EWU for two years, and served in the Army National Guard. Like his late brother Donald, he worked for the Department of Natural Resources as a firefighter but spent most of his career in sales.

US-395 Reopened Following Motorcycle & Pickup Collision

March 18, 2026

Traffic is moving again on US-395, but the investigation into today’s serious motorcycle crash is far from over.

As of 5pm today, all lanes of US-395 have been reopened to traffic. Earlier today, a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a white pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 395 and H Street, which is near Henery Hardware, forced a complete closure of the highway, resulting in significant gridlock through the heart of Deer Park.

City & School Levy Under Investigation

A state investigation is officially underway into the City of Deer Park for the alleged illegal use of taxpayer resources to promote a $14.6 million school levy. At the center of the probe is a potential conflict of interest, as the School District’s plans to purchase city-owned land in the near future hinge on the levy’s passage.
