Princess Mason Griffin – The Stars of Miss Deer Park 2021

Though the Miss Deer Park 2021 event is over, we would love to honor all of the contestants and their achievements by showcasing each in their own spotlight article. Please help us congratulate each one of these wonderful young ladies of character.

Princess Mason Griffin: Her parents are Basil and Jennifer Griffin. Princess Mason plans to become a lawyer and to attend Gonzaga University. She enjoys dancing, horseback riding, and teaching Sunday school. She volunteers at Second Harvest and is a cheerleader. Her favorite TV show is “Barbie Life”. To make life better as we recover after the pandemic, Princess Mason suggested creating a late afternoon zoom exercise class for kids to get a good workout before the parents get home. She was awarded two scholarships, one for Miss Deer Park Princess 2021 and the other for the Judge’s Interview.

When we asked what was her biggest take away from the program, she replied, “My biggest take away from the program was to work hard, but not take yourself too seriously. The pageant is about winning, yes, but it is also about the bonds that you create during the preparations leading up to the pageant.” She also stated that, “What I am most looking forward to this year as a princess is having the chance to grow as a person while representing Deer Park, and getting closer to the other girls on my court.”
