The Stag Award

In a partnership with Avista, the Economic Development Committee, the Chamber of Commerce is working to add holiday lights and seasonal decor. Part of that effort is the Stag Award; going to the business with the best holiday decor on the storefront or the window display.

This year’s winner was announced at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony December 5th, during the annual Hometown Christmas Celebration. Knight’s Construction and Supply Company received the award this year for their beautiful display on their 6th street storefront.

Decorations were required to be up by Thanksgiving, in time for Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday shoppers! All of Deer Park’s businesses were invited to join in the fun. Last year Five North Coffee and Gifts took home the trophy for their amazing window display.
