Small Business Saturday 2019

Mark your calendars! Small Business Saturday lands on November 30th this year.

The focus of Small Business Saturday is to encourage consumers to ditch big box stores in favor of supporting locally owned businesses during the upcoming shopping weekend. While shopping small businesses is a great way to boost our local economy year-round, many offer specials and promotions to boost traffic specifically on Saturday.

Several of our local businesses in the Tri-County area are participating this year, including Shear Salon & Spa, Five North Coffee + Gifts and Lofty Skies C.O.F.F.E.E., while The Pickett Fence will be offering specials both on Friday and Saturday.

If you aren’t sure if your favorite local businesses are participating, ask them!

Also, Visit the Deer Park Library to get a Small Business Saturday Bingo Card and visit the supporting businesses for a chance to win prizes! (While supplies last. Prizes have been provided by the Friends of the Libraries and American Express.)
