Learning Express “Smart Centers” Available With Your Library Card

A new billboard just north of Chewelah now shows an offer for homework help, career prep, and ACT/SAT assistance – all available with your library card number. For several years, the Libraries of Stevens County has offered a database called Learning Express to all library card holders and it is available for use at the library or from home. Learning Express houses seven “smart centers” based around a core theme. Each center has different features, such as practice tests, eBooks, and tutorials, to help users build skills. Progress can be saved to resume later and instant scoring once an exam is complete helps users understand errors. The centers are:

Occupational exam test prep is available for dozens of popular careers such as CDL, cosmetology, real estate, postal worker, electrical, plumbing, and more.
