Gary B. Ault, convicted of premeditated murder in the death of Richard Purdy, received a life sentence without parole. The verdict, reached after extensive investigation and prosecution, marks the severity of Ault’s actions and the community’s loss.
With most of the votes counted, the winners are now clear. Both Deer Park City Council and the School Board will have some new members. Election results were slightly delayed due to evacuations after receiving an envelope containing a white powder.
SWAT made an arrest Friday morning of David Allen, a suspected bank robber at Mission Court Apartments. He has been booked into Spokane County Jail.
Tuesday, Oct 15, the Deer Park School District acknowledged that a threat had been made against a “small and specific group of students” via social media. Spokane County Sheriff are working with the Spokane Police Department determined that a posted message came from outside of the Deer Park area
