As the weather changes, many pets are getting cabin fever just like us. A quick browse through local pages on Facebook makes it appear there are more stray pets out roaming lately. So, what happens if you end up rescuing a stray pet?
Even without that much-needed shelter for housing animals, NEWHS is meeting several of its goals and impacting Stevens County with their services.
The tri-county area has been blessed with an abundance of rescue groups that will fit each family’s needs while also serving a wide variety of animals. Cats, dogs, horses, and even tigers are just a few of the animals that are cared for by our local rescue organizations.
Many people looking for their next new pet have been known to recoil at the adoption fees charged by rescues, shelters and even private individuals.
