The holidays are a fun and festive time of year, and with a few extra steps it is possible to ensure that your pets stay safe and enjoy the season as well.

A group of business owners and community members gathered together at Lofty Skies C.O.F.F.E.E. to discuss growing a remarkable community. The coffee house was filled to the brim with an eager audience.

This beautiful little lady came to the Mission from the great state of Utah, where she had been returned to the shelter and was facing euthanasia. Sandy’s first stop was at K9 Communication, where she spent two weeks brushing up on the basics and learning more about self control in private and public settings. She was a rockstar!

Bicycles By Deron (BBD) has moved! Now located just around the corner at 105 E. Crawford St., BBD is still offering all of the same great services and products with their customers’ needs as the foremost priority!

Upon entering the theater to watch Antigone In Munich, the audience was immediately met by a stage backdropped with Nazi flags. I had been told that this play was going to have some heavy themes; with this set dressing that weight was instantly felt.

After reading Deer Park Moving Forward (Vol. 8 Issue 10), there is something that Deer Park needs to address. Living here since 1983, there has always been more than one grocery store until a few years back.

Deer Park welcomed a new business, Five North Coffee and Gifts, into the area on November 24th. Grand Opening events included a ribbon cutting and a raffle/donation drive to raise money for the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

Come join Deer Park HomeLink for their production of “The Canterville Ghost”. This is a thrilling adaptation of the famous short story by Oscar Wilde. With a cast of 22 students, this two and a half hour production is sure to uplift and inspire.

Eddie Reyes, a Deer Park High School student, won this year’s WinterFest Logo Design contest. His clever design puts Deer Park’s familiar conifers inside a wintry snow globe.
